Ninja'd my way to Wellington

On $38 return flights, the lovely Nat and I have skipped our way to Wellington and decided I should move here. I'm blogging from a Starbucks, which makes me feel like I'm validating myself as a writer: look at me, I'm on my computer in public, I'm super important!

There are many points on which I disagree with Mr K West, and this be one of them

Tiercé

Good evening,
Tonight I saw the Royal New Zealand Ballet ninja their way into my smiling cavities with their latest ballet, The Nutcracker.

I also made an extremely awesome discovery today, thanks to my iPod. If you have a friend, and life is getting them down, I have the cheer-me-up trifecta of songs:

Umbrella
Now that it's raining more than ever, know that we'll still have each other. You can stand under my umbrella.

Time After Time
If you're lost you can look and you will find me. If you fall, I will catch you.

I Will Survive
You think I'd crumble? You think I'd break down and die? Oh no, not I!

Be prepared like a girl guide

A big part of being a ninja is being prepared. After all, you can't jump out of someone's closet and stab them in the neck unless you've already been waiting there for five hours for them to arrive home. Mind you, better preparation might have been finding out their estimated arrival time.

A few nights ago I received my Semester 2 grades, thus completing my first year of uni. I'm going to be perfectly honest... I'm pretty chuffed about my marks. The problem is that the knowledge that I'd completed my first year without a hitch plus the stress of enrolling in next years papers sent me into a spin of self-doubt... I was convinced I was structuring my degree all wrong, and I'd reach the end of my degree actually without a degree.
So I made this:
This is my official degree planner. It tells me exactly what I need to do in order to fulfil the requirements of my degree, whether I choose a major and minor or double major.

Now it sits on my wall of goodness, my blue-tack laden wall full of things I like.
I feel like I ninja'd the crap outta that.
